PBC offers Technical Assistance, also know as "TA" and commonly referred to as consulting. Our TA Program provides targeted support to an organization with a development need or problem. This effective method us used to build the capacity of an organization.

Technical Assistance.- Our advisory and consulting services have been designed to help you start, develop, and grow your North Carolina Small Business.

Being a small business owner takes a lot of know-how. You need a successful business plan, and understanding of what bankers look for, and the ability to manage business operations, including taxes, accounting, employee insurance, payroll, marketing, and more. Our Business Counselor at PBC is here to help!

Call our office to determine if you are loan-ready. Currently, we do not provide funding for startup businesses.

The process takes 4-6 weeks. During that time, our Director of Business Lending and/or loan officer will reach out to you for more information or will provide you with the next steps. Please check your emails regularly for updates.
